"M&M's"® Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies
The combination of chocolate and marshmallow give these cookies delightful flavor and texture. No one can resist them!

1 cup (240 ml) sugar
1 cup (240 ml) shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 cups (360 ml) flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (120 ml) cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup (160 ml) milk
2/3 cup (160 ml) "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits
1/2 cup (120 ml) marshmallows




Cream together 1 cup (240 mL) sugar and 1 cup (240 mL) shortening. Add 1 egg to mixture and stir to blend.

Sift together 1 1/2 cup (360 mL) flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 cup (120 mL) cocoa. Stir into the batter.

Add 1 tsp. vanilla, 2/3 cup (160 mL) milk and 2/3 cup (160 mL) "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Stir until mixed and evenly distributed.

Drop cookies by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8 minutes. Top each cookie with a marshmallow. Bake 3 minutes longer and cool.

Frost with:
3/4 cup (180 mL) soft butter
3 tbsp. of water
2 cups (480 mL) confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup (120 mL) cocoa

Mix ingredients together. When cookies are cool, frost and then sprinkle with "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits.
