Sour Cream Pound Cake
Sour cream makes this pound cake very moist.

2 sticks butter
2-3/4 cups sugar, divided
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon cinnamon




Heat oven to 350 and grease & flour a 10" bundt pan.
Cream together butter & 2 cups of sugar. Add eggs; blend well.
Add sour cream & vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder & salt together and fold into
creamed mixture just until blended.
......... DO NOT OVERBEAT..........
In separate bowl, mix remaining 3/4 cup sugar with pecans and cinnamon. Pour
1/2 of the batter into pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of dry mixture; repeat.


Bake on middle rack for 1 hour.
