1/2 cup butter or 2 cups hot water or 1 package active dry yeast or 1/3 cup sugar or 1 teaspoon salt or 6 to 6-1/2 cups flour or 2 eggs

Melt butter in hot water. Cool to lukewarem. Add yeast, sugar and salt; blend until well mixed. Mix in 3 cups of the flour. Add eggs, one at a time, blending well. Stir in remaining flour and beat until smooth. Form large ball and knead until dough is no longer sticky. Add more flour if necessary. Cover, and place in refrigerator for 12 hours, or more. When ready to bake, knead dough until all bubbles are gone. Divide dough in half. Shape into 2 loaves; place in well-greased bread pans. Let rise in warm place until double in size, about 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
