A traditional international favorite.
Serves: 6
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 6 to 8 hours


1 1/2 pounds pork loin roast
1/2 pound pinto beans
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 tablespoon cumin
1 can (4 ounces) green chilies, diced
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 tablespoon salt
cheddar, grated
sour cream

Put all ingredients in crockpot and cover with water. Cook on low
6 to 8 hours. Bone and shred the pork and continue cooking on high
uncovered to desired consistency. Serve over tortillas or corn
chips and top with grated cheddar, sour cream, etc. You do not have
to soak the beans.
