Apple Peanut Butter Crisp
Peanut butter and apples are a classic combination...served warm with a oatmeal crisp topping and some vanilla ice cream, the combination is irresistible!
Serves: 6 servings (about 1/2 cup each)
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter, cut up
3 tablespoons Jif® peanut butter
5 to 6 apple, peeled and sliced
vanilla ice cream

Stir the flour, oats, brown sugar and salt in a medium bowl.  Cut in the butter and peanut butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until coarse crumbs form.
Place the apples into a lightly greased microwavable pie plate.  Sprinkle with the cookie mixture.
Microwave on HIGH for 15 minutes or until the apples are tender.  Serve with the ice cream, if desired.
