Asparagus with Ham and Toasted Cheese
Steamed asparagus gets gussied-up with a broiled ham and cheese topping that's hard to resist.

2 pounds asparagus, trimmed and steamed until tender
3 thin slices deli ham (about 2 ounces), cut into thin strips
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 cups grated Fontina cheese (about 6 ounces)




Heat the broiler.  Lightly grease a baking sheet.

Arrange the asparagus on the baking sheet.  Top with the ham and drizzle with the butter. Sprinkle with the cheese.
Broil for 3 minutes or until the cheese is lightly browned.
