Beef & Pasta Bake
This tasty version of baked ziti is especially easy to make...just brown some ground beef, mix with prepared Italian sauce, shredded cheese and cooked ziti and bake until hot and bubbling.  Delish!
Serves: 4 servings (about 2 cups each)
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes


1 pound ground beef
1 jar (24 ounces) Prego® Chunky Garden Mushroom Supreme Italian Sauce with Baby Portobello
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 4 ounces)
1/2 of a 1-pound package medium tube-shaped pasta (ziti) (about 3 cups), cooked and drained

Cook the beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
Stir the sauce and 1/2 cup cheese in the skillet.  Add the pasta and stir to coat.  Spoon the beef mixture into a 2-quart shallow baking dish.  Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Bake at 400°F. for 25 minutes or until the beef mixture is hot and bubbling.
