Beef Au Jus with Chives
Here it is...a simply delicious au jus that complements beef dishes without overpowering them.  It's so elegant!
Serves: 6 servings (about 1/4 cup each)
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes


1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 3/4 cups Swanson® Beef Broth (Regular or 50% Less Sodium)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

Stir the cornstarch and 1/4 cup broth in a small bowl until the mixture is smooth.
Heat the remaining broth in a 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.  Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and cook and stir until the mixture boils and thickens.  Stir in the chives.
Serving Suggestion: This sauce is delicious served with Beef Wellington.
