Homemade Hummus
Healthy Mediterranean dip for vegetables, chips or pita bread.
Serves: 8

2 16 oz Cans garbanzo beans, (Chick Peas)
1/2 cup tahini, (Sesame Paste)
juice from 1 lemon
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
2 Tbsp olive oil, (Optional)
chopped parsley

Drain the juice from 1 can garbanzo beans. Place the drained beans in a food
processor or blender, and second can with liquid. Add tahini, lemon juice, and
garlic. Blend until very smooth. Pour onto serving dish. Drizzle with Olive Oil
if desired, Garnish with Parsley.
Serve with fresh Vegetables.
