Braised Chicken with Honey

3 pounds fresh chicken legs
1/4 cup oil
1 onion, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
8 ounces tomato sauce
1/4 cup Lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon Pepper

In a heavy skillet, cook cut-up chicken in hot oil about 15 minutes or until lightly browned, turning to brown evenly. Add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms the last 5 minutes of cooking.

In a medium bowl combine tomato sauce, lemon juice, salt, white wine vinegar, chicken broth, honey, and pepper; stir until well mixed. Pour over chicken in skillet. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 25-30 minutes or until chicken is tender. Turn once during cooking.
