Glass jar with lid
paint, or paint pens
stencil, (optional)
stickers, (optional)
Paint brush
Dry hot chocolate mix, (see our recipe below)

1. Wash the glass jar inside and out and let dry.
2. Decorate the outside of the jar with paint pens, a stencil and paints, or even stickers. If you use a stencil, you`ll want to secure it to the jar with double-sided tape while you`re creating your design.
3. Fill with our dry hot chocolate mix and tie a ribbon around the top of the jar. You can attach a hole-punched index card with instructions for making the hot chocolate and the recipe. When the mix is gone, the recipient can use the jar for storage of small items, such as pencils or candy.

Mini marshmallows (optional)
