BEEF CREOLE WITH RICE
This is a recipe my mother used to make it is from the Deseret cookbook- about 3.50 from the distribution center... I have tweeked the recipe though.

1 lb ground beef
1 chopped onion
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1-2 green peppers, thinly sliced
2 cups celery, sliced
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
6 cups hot cooked rice
1 can (28 oz) tomatoes, pureed




brown beef, add onions, green peppers, and celery and cook until onions are translusent. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper and cook for a few min. Then add tomatoes and simmer for 5-10 min until hot. Mix with rice and serve hot.
