Chicken and 3 Peppers Pizza
This pizza takes no time to prepare and cooks in less than 20 minutes. Kids love it -- it's a terrific family meal.

Cook Time: 15-18 minutes


One 12-inch prepared pizza crust
One 14-ounce jar pizza sauce, or your favorite marinara sauce
One 8-ounce package shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups sliveredyellow, green or red bell pepper, or a mixture of all three
2 tablespoons garlic-flavored olive oil
One 10-ounce package fully-cooked PERDUE® SHORT CUTS® Italian Style Carved Chicken Breast

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Put the pizza crust on a pizza pan or baking sheet and spread the pizza sauce over the top of it. Scatter about 1 cup of the cheese over the sauce.

In a medium bowl, toss the peppers with the oil. Spread half of the peppers over the cheese. Top with the chicken and remaining peppers and cheese.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until the crust is browned and the cheese is melted.

Note: You can buy garlic-flavored olive oil or make it. To make your own, mix a crushed clove or garlic with 1/4 cup of olive oil. Allow it to stand about an hour before use, or refrigerate it and use within a week.
