Good ingredients with good eye appeal.

I did not like the taste of the vinaigrette. I also did not like the idea of eating raw egg in the dressing. The asparagus and mushrooms tasted better without the vinaigrette. If I do try this recipe again, I will leave the raw eggs out. I think that might improve it.

I found that by following the ingredients and measurements, I ended up with way too much vinaigrette. Next time I would probably make half the amount of dressing. This was a beautiful salad presentation for Easter.

I would blend the basil in the food processer whith the other ingredients to release more flavor.
