My kids (now 10 and 13) have loved this dish for years. They like putting on their own cheese, kidney beans and onions. Unlike many chili dishes, which are spicy hot, this dish is mild. It is impossible to tell the meat is turky and not beef, which fits my healthy-eating mission. People with high cholesterol can skip the cheese and still enjoy the dish. The chili also freezes well. I make extra and on a hectic night, it makes my dinner options easier.
