Wonderful!! This was so easy to make and a big hit with the family. While it obviously takes more time than the boxed version, it's definately worth it. I love this dish!


A lot of steps taking time. I prefer smoked turkey to the ham but the recipe of very good....a real crowd pleaser!


I THINK THERE ARE WAY TO MANY DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS FOR THIS DISH WHEN YOU CAN JUST MAKE IT FROM A BOX, AND ADD A FEW THINGS AND HAM AND IT IS DONE. i THINK IT WAS TO MUCH FOR WHAT IT IS.

I used 1/2 and 1/2 rather than low fat milk... very rich but very tasty.... I think next time I would cut the dijon mustard in 1/2....

This recipe sounds like my mother used to make. I would make it if I new what 3/4 of a lb. is in cups. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.


Adding peas to the recipe gives it color and added flavor. It's a great make-ahead meal the night before, and bake the following day.
