Michelle This soup was so easy to prepare. I was very disappointed in the taste. It was definitely missing something!! :(Janis Used this recipe at a soup sale at our school and it was an easy vegetarian dish. May have to add salt if you aren't used to using vegetarian broth. Substitute in a wild rice mix for the long grain rice and add a little pearl barley to add visual and nutritional interest. Also great with frozen French cut green beans or fresh, chopped green beans. Save time by using pre-shredded cabage sold in bags for coleslaw.
