PAT VERY EASY TO MAKE & VERY EASY TO EAT. THE GRANDKIDS THINK IT IS THE BEST STUFF THEY HAVE EVER EATEN.JEANETTE MY 10 YEAR OLD SON LOVED MAKING THESE. HE LIKES TO COOK AND THE SIMPLER THE BETTER.Donna I replaced 1/2 cup flour with wheat flour. I have made this recipe three times. I have also replaced all-purpose flour, salt and powder with self-rising flour. I reduced butter to 3 tbls., and reduced sugar to 3 tbls also.Carrie I have made this recipe many times, for many different occassions. My boyfriend and I also like them with lemon or orange extract as well as with glaze over them. They are delicious!!TRACI I HAVE TASTED THESE ELSEWHERE AND LOVED THEM, I ALWAYS WANTED THE RECIPE AND NOW I FINALLY GOT IT....THANKS. THEY ARE ALSO VERY GOOD WITH WHITE CHOCOLATE AND ALMOND SLIVERS...TRY IT I'M SURE YOU WILL LOVE IT ALSO. 'P.S. THESE ARE ALSO GOOD MOMMY SNACKS OR FOR PACKING IN THE WHOLE FAMILYS LUNCH FOR WORK OR SCHOOL.Jeannette I have three grandchildren. I could find a little job for each one to do, to help prepare the scones. My five year old grandson was able to ADD all the dry ingredients and also pat the scones with flour.The twin girls were able to do the measuring and beating part of the recipe.It was fun for all of us.They own two wonderfull tea sets which get much use.This little scone reciepe is a nice addition to our tea parties.Many valuable lessons can be learned from tea parties.jjs w palm bch fla
